I already explained that men are physically equipped to endure hardship. And from a biological standpoint, with one man, you can fertilize hundreds if not thousands of women, thereby preserving one's population. But the reverse cannot work. One women cannot give birth to hundreds, even if you have one thousand men. If you only have a few women, the population will rebuild very slowly - in addition there will be more conflict among men. Please stop putting words into my mouth.

Overpopulation will not be solved by letting people die, but by preventing unwanted pregnancies and educating men and women in the impoverished countries where overpopulation is a growing problem. And yes, I think it would be better for a strong, grown adult to sacrifice himself/herself for a child. That's just how I roll.

In order to preserve a population species, it is crucial to preserve women and children. Only a few males are required to impregnate hundreds of females. There are biological reasons for this. Women are also less likely to survive hardships than men - in that sense, it is more important to preserve females to continue bearing children, preserve children to become the next generation, and why men traditionally make the sacrifice of going to war or dying heroically.

I know it's not universally true of women because I've known a some who were very calm under pressure but they tend to be a liability in life threatening situations,. if you can evacuate them and the children those left will be less distracted and more focused. I know that means that as individuals their survival is under greater threat but the collective chances of survival are increased.

This has NOTHING to do with a man NOT being valuable or priceless. It's about men who are NOT cowards-as you appear to be-who believe in protecting the weaker members of society! Children first makes sense - many species protect their young. "Women first" is just a throwback to the old days. It also made a little sense back then because 1 woman and 20 dicks makes 1 baby, but 1 dick and 20 women makes 20 babies. You're totally right about the equality issue - notice the feminists have no problem with this kind of treatment when it allows them to live. It just illustrates their whole hypocrisy.

im not entirely agreeing with you on this topic except for one thing.. there should be no 'women and children first' while exiting an airplane because it will cause a pile up, people should exit in the order that they are seated relative to the exits so that the amount of time it takes every person to exit the plane is minimized
